REVIEW

Regrettably, most new productions of Swan Lake are re-hashed of existing ideas and practises rearranged into a new configuration of cliches. Thomas Edur has done something more radical and applied a highly developed and independent intelligence to his vision of the work and stripped away inessentials to highlight the important themes. Musically the choreography is impeccable and coherent. I would return to Estonia for the most satisfying experience of this ballet. I can utter no higher praise.
